Joel is a member of the VoidTokyo photography collective and Gallery Room 305.

Joel’s work has been exhibited at the Nizhny Tagil Museum of Fine Arts, the Haeden Museum in Korea, and at galleries in Japan, America, and Europe. A solo exhibition, Some Men That I Remember, was held at Place M gallery in Tokyo from April 28, 2025 to May 4, 2025.

Joel’s publications include SLOPES, RESTROOMS, MAILBOXES, and 東京は花ーTokyo is Flowers.
